How to open a file in an archive without extraction
Bandizip allows opening a file in an archive without extraction. If you open a file in your archive by using double-click or Enter key, Bandizip automatically extracts the file to the temporary folder and opens it.

The path of the temporary folder Bandizip uses to open the file is as follows:
- C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Temp
- Or click the Start menu and run %temp% to access the Temp folder.
Under the Temp folder, you may find the extracted file is stored in the folder whose name starts with “BNZ.”

The extracted file in the temporary folder is deleted automatically when you exit Bandizip.
